movie list

Here are a few of the movies I have been watching in bits and pieces (I haven't watched a movie in its entirety all summer) and movies on my list, because when it gets humid and work is long the cool basement couch and a DVD sounds soooooo good.

Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, and Before Midnight ... I watched Before Midnight with Em last night at the Glen Arts Theater (janky old seats, cool cement floors, and we were the only ones there!) and am going to go back and watch the first two. The script was so good.

Frances Ha! I am going to see it tomorrow, or this weekend, or next week. Watch the trailer here. Doesn't it look fun?

Annie Hall, Match Point, and Midnight in Paris. Woody Allen kicks are a good thing in the summertime. It's the right kind of laughter when you are worn out and dreaming of a time when you can travel.

High Fidelity with John Cusack and a very young Jack Black. I'll let you know.

And my book of Tagore poems came! Lovely.

  1. OK, "Midnight in Paris" is one of my all-time favorites. I could watch it any time. And "High Fidelity" I remember from, I think, my college days. Loved it!
