I still cannot quite believe how beautiful it has been all break here in Northern California - sunny and clear and mild.
These are some snaps from the art books on Cezanne and Impressionism that my mother pulled off the shelves for my sister (who wants to study art). What is it about impressionism that is so wonderful? The colors, or the subject, or the general hazy but insightful feel of the paintings? Anyway, I love the paintings and the books were beautiful - enjoy!
