Went over to my grandmother's this afternoon to learn how to knit cables, and will very soon be an Irish Knitting professional! Maybe.
Or at least I shall be able to knit a few decent cables, which is wonderful as my plan for the next wintery semester is to study study study knit study knit. Here are a few pictures from the bee-you-tee-ful cable sweaters book grammy had at her house. Not only do I love the sweaters, but I'm digging the style of the girls modelling too. Hiking boots and lace-ups and plaid were in then, too.
Maybe not the lip liner.
