Today there is a soft misty rain outside the windows, but yesterday was sunny and beautiful, so my mother and I went to the UCSC arboretum ($5 donation for adults, $2 for children) and wandered the gardens and trees for a while. I highly recommend an afternoon amongst the leaves and blooms there.
