Watching rabbits
run in the morning
little bodies sleek
down a gravel road
hind legs bouncing
comically frantic
so fast
and yet
so fragile.
DISPATCH YOSEMITE. A weekend spent in Twainharte and Yosemite, amongst pine trees so spicy it wrinkles your nose, fresh grilled cheese with tomatoes, cold water and crisp air and immense granite peaks, hiking and rittersport chocolate bars and lazy naps by the heater. Reading through more Dickens, which gets funnier and sharper as I go, and a nap in the porch on the sun with Jessina this afternoon when we got home to the Santa Cruz mountains. Loving this good life.
