photography inspiration: alfred eisenstaedt

So, everyone has seen The Kiss photograph, but I had not ever really looked at other pictures by the photographer until today and - voila! they are fabulous. Quick bio: Eisenstaedt is considered the father of the candid photograph and photojournalism, sold his first photograph at 29, self-taught all of his technique.

Here are a few of my very favorite photographs - I hope that you love him as much as I do!




Fabulous, right? The girl peering at the fish is my favorite, I think. See how she is twisting her whole body to make eye contact?
