dinner with a friend

Speaking of which, (not really, but it's something I have found that I use as a means of getting whatever it is that I wish to speak of out in the open, regardless of its current pertinence), last night I had a wholly delicious dinner with my good friend Sarah at a trendy new restaurant/bar of her family's discovery in downtown SantaCruz. I got my last Christmas gift given, and it was so fun to go out to dinner! The lighting and decor were fun, well put together and a bit moody and our grilled portabello, mozzerella and pesto sandwhich was perfection. It was the cardamom-rose crème brulée, however, that 'took the cake' in every way. Well-priced, friendly and positively delicious.http://www.redsantacruz.com/
